Thanks to your generosity, PFLAG’s efforts to promote knowledge, support, and concern for LGBTQ+ members of our community are moving forward.

With your support, PFLAG is becoming a visible, credible resource for a growing number of area families, professionals, and organizations. We are now able to offer:

SAFE ZONE TRAINING: A workshop that provides LGBTQ+ awareness and ally training to health and social work professionals, community organizations, churches, and educators. We are investigating the ability to offer continuing education credits and human resource training for businesses and teachers.

MONTHLY SUPPORT MEETING: This is an ongoing monthly support group which is private and confidential for family members and gender questioning persons who want to gain understanding about gender equality issues affecting families of LGBTQ+ persons and their friends and allies.

ADVOCACY: PFLAG representatives are now appearing at community meetings and events to present information and give visibility for our programs.
