Executive Orders do NOT have the force of law and are being challenged as we speak. There will be periods, after regulations have been written that you will be able to voice your concerns and we will have the ability to overload the systems with comments so that the laws will not get through. STAY ENGAGED!!!
If you have been denied care and are under 19 years old, please reach out to us as PFLAG National wants to help.
Do everything you can RIGHT NOW to make your family legal in any way that means. Fill out paperwork, update documents and know your rights.

~learn to meditate so that you can ground yourself when it gets overwhelming,
~Call a friend and laugh

On October 4th, 2025 we held our Annual Membership meeting in Woodstock, VA and put together a report of our accomplishments from the previous year and our goals for the future. We also put officers into place and have other roles to fill which you can see in the document Welcome to the meeting 2025. Our current treasurer needs to step back from our chapter and we need to fill that position. We are grateful that Jason Ritenour, the treasurer, has agreed to continue until we can fill that important role. If you or someone you know has that expertise please reach out to us and if you would like to volunteer with our chapter we have lots of things that we need your expertise with and would greatly appreciate hearing from you!!!!
